Job summary

Baxters North America, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in East Bernstadt, KY to prepare pallets for shipment and load them onto company trucks.

You will remove full pallets, wrap with stretch film, tag pallets, operate an electric pallet jack, and move packaging from staging to production lines as needed. This role requires basic reading and math, a high school diploma or GED, and Electric Pallet Jack Certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or 1 year related experience.
• Must have Electric Pallet Jack Certification.

Responsibilities

• Remove full pallets from lines, wrap pallets with stretch wrap.
• Ensure pallets are tagged properly.
• Operate an electric pallet jack to load finished pallets onto the truck.
• Deliver packaging from staging to lines as needed.
• Assist the case stacker as needed.

SUMMARY: Prepares pallets of finished product for shipment or storage and loads pallets onto the company truck.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Removes full pallets of product from both the tray and pouch lines, and wrap the pallets using the stretch wrapper.
• Ensures the pallet is tagged properly.
• Operates an electric pallet jack to deliver and safely load the finished pallets onto the company truck.
• Delivers packaging and supplies from Carton & Case staging area to either line as needed.
• Assists the case stacker as needed.
• Maintains the electric pallet jack.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one year related work experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Languageskills

Have the ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract whole numbers.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral form.
