Job summary

HealthTrust Performance Group is seeking a Material Handler to support accurate order fulfillment, receiving, stocking, and routing of products. The role emphasizes safe operation of power equipment, use of RF devices, and maintaining inventory accuracy within a healthcare distribution environment.

The position requires 2+ years of warehouse experience, and a HS diploma or GED is preferred. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

  • The candidate has 2+ years of warehouse experience relevant to material handling.
  • Experience operating mobile power equipment such as stock picker and lift trucks.
  • HS Diploma or GED is preferred for applicants.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, stock, and replenish inventory while maintaining accuracy.
  • Route orders and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
  • Maintain safe, clean work areas and operate RF devices as required.
  • Verify quantities and inventory accuracy across the distribution center.
  • Support timely order fulfillment and teamwork within the department.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Material Handler is responsible for providing the highest level of accuracy within each aspect of customer order fulfillment. This includes, but is not limited to, receiving product, stocking/replenishment, product selection, routing completed orders to the appropriate area, maintaining a clean and safe work environment and operating power equipment in a safe manner. Utilization of computers and RF devices is required. Performance consistent with guidelines established by the Operations Management Team of the CDC will be essential.

Major Responsibilities
  • Effectively practices and promotes teamwork in all duties. Actions are consistent with objectives and goals for department, distribution center, and health system. Remembers that patients are at the end of our supply chain
  • Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated locations.
  • Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information.
  • Performs duties in a manner that insures inventory accuracy throughout the health system. Verifies products, quantities, and insures label integrity. Provides notification of item maintenance when required. Actual accuracy performance consistent with established standards for a Materials Handler.
  • Consistently produces work volumes relative to established standards for a Materials Handler.
Education & Experience:
  • HS Diploma/GED Preferred
  • 2+ years warehouse experienced Required
  • Experience with mobile power equipment, e.g., stock picker, lift truck, turret/swing-reach truck, rider jack, and/or the ability to learn and safely operate each Required
