Job summary

Madico-Window-Films is hiring a local Material Handler in Florida for an onsite role. Training occurs 6am-4pm, then permanent shift 2pm-12am.

The job involves moving materials using a lift truck and manual handling to support inventory distribution, storage, manufacturing schedules, and customer orders. Key duties include verifying inventory accuracy, packing for shipment, completing material transactions, and operating the Rapistak system.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Basic math, reading and writing skills.
  • Ability to work with others.

Responsibilities

  • Move materials and store as needed to keep an organized warehouse.
  • Identify inaccuracies in inventory cycle counts.
  • Prepare and package materials for shipment including palletizing, wrapping, and packing lists.
  • Complete BPCS material transactions in a timely manner.
  • Operate forklifts to move materials safely per training.
  • Keep warehouse organized and materials neatly stored.
  • Prepare rolls for shipment by identifying, packaging, end plating and wrapping.
  • Coordinate with Production for timely distribution of materials.
  • Identify damaged materials at shipment and report to purchasing and planning as needed.
  • Safely operate Rapistak inventory system to store and retrieve roll goods.

Position will be Monday-Thursday:Training 6am-4pm 2-3 weeks; Permanent shift 2pm-12am.Madico is a local Manufacturer and supplier of Window film with proven industry leadership, and we have entered growth mode. We are seeking a local individual for our Material Handler Position. This is an exciting onsite opportunity for a local candidate. You are also eligible for paid vacation and holiday time and enrollment in our 401k account with a generous match. $100 sign-on bonus (after 90 days of employment).JOB SUMMARY:Move materials using a lift truck, truck and manually as required for inventory distribution, storage, manufacturing schedule and customer order requirements.Works under the general direction of Bldg. II Supervisor.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Under the ADA, essential functions are those that a person must be able to perform in the job, either unaided or with the assistance of a “reasonable accommodation.”1. Move materials and store as needed to maintain a neat, clutter-free warehouse.2. Identify the inaccuracies of inventory cycle counts.3.
