Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. in Covington, GA is seeking a Material Handler on a 12-month contract. The role is first shift with hours 6am–2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime and occasional Saturday work. Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally heavier) and endure hot/cold conditions.
• Requires willingness for overtime and weekend shifts per client needs.

Responsibilities

• Dump product on the line to be kitted.
• Pack and box kitted product, seal and palletize.
• Move products between staging, line, and packaging using a pallet jack.
• Ensure pallets are wrapped and placed correctly.
• Maintain workspace in a loud manufacturing setting.

Job Description

• Must be able to lift over 50lbs (very rarely) although most lifting is around only about 7 pounds

Heavy

• Dump product on the line to be kitted
• Pack kitted product back in the box, tape box, place box on pallet in correct configuration
• Move product from staging area to line with a pallet jack
• Move pallets forward on the line with pallet jack
• Move completed pallets to shrink wrap area with pallet jack
• Cutting open boxes and remove inserts
• Complete status placards for kitted pallets
• It is hot in the summer months (no AC) and cold in the winter months (limited heating). The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
• Must have 1 year warehouse experience in a production environment.
