As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse and shipping operations, supporting production flow and helping ensure finished goods are prepared, secured, and ready for shipment. What's the Job?
- Load finished goods onto pallets according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
- Build and prepare pallets for shipment, ensuring product integrity, labeling accuracy, and proper load configuration; including operation of pallet jacks.
- Secure pallets using approved wrapping materials to maintain stability and prevent damage during storage or transport.
- Inspect materials for damage, contamination, or inconsistencies, and promptly report findings to the Shift Supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and company housekeeping standards.
What's Needed?
- Prior working knowledge in a manufacturing, packaging, or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
- Ability to respond to verbal and written instructions.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, loud production environment and handling continuous movement.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and operate a hand pallet jack and other material-handling tools as needed.
