Job summary

PEAK Technical Services Inc. in Columbus, Ohio, seeks a full-time Material Handler to oversee safe and efficient material movement throughout our manufacturing floor. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m., with emphasis on inventory control and distribution within the facility. The role involves operating lifts and pallet jacks, loading and unloading, preparing shipments, and maintaining accurate records while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years of previous experience with a solid work history.
• 3-5 years in Metal Manufacturing/Job Shop preferred, including moving metal materials, skids, long tubes, crated heavy material, and finished metal goods through a production facility.
• Experience unloading trucks with similar raw goods.
• Ability to balance responsibilities between unloading, supporting the production shop, and receiving goods.
• Capability to handle a physical workload.
• Strong work ethic.
• Basic computer skills.
