Job summary

TEMO, Inc. in Clinton Township, MI is seeking a full-time Material Handler to move, store, and replenish materials across the manufacturing floor.

You will work closely with team leads, supervisors and receiving personnel to maintain smooth material flow, ensure availability, and support production. This on-site role requires physical stamina, adherence to safety guidelines, and the ability to operate forklifts after training.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, and moving of materials.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment after training.

Responsibilities

• Move materials, parts, and products throughout the factory using a forklift (HILO).
• Remove and replace storage racks as needed to support production and warehouse operations.
• Replenish materials in bins, racks, and designated storage locations.
• Physically stack, organize, and consolidate materials to maximize storage efficiency.
• Communicate with team leads and supervisors regarding material needs and storage locations.
• Retrieve materials from the receiving dock and transport them to appropriate storage areas.
• Coordinate with management to prioritize material routing and special material placement requirements.
• Assist with staging, organizing and reconfiguring materials for production and warehouse needs.
• Support other departments with material handling, staging, and facility organization projects as needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and operating guidelines.

Job Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for moving, organizing, storing, and replenishing materials throughout the manufacturing facility. This position plays a key role in supporting production operations by ensuring materials are available where and when they are needed. The Material Handler will work closely with team leads, supervisors, receiving personnel, and management to maintain efficient material flow throughout the facility.
