Job summary

Centro, Inc. in Claremont, NC is seeking a dependable Material Handler to move raw materials, molds, and finished products across the facility.

You will support production, ensure accurate inventories, and help maintain safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include operating forklifts, verifying quantities, and assisting shipping and receiving while maintaining clean, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Able to operate forklifts and maintain safe practices.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move materials safely and accurately.
• Deliver raw materials, molds, and accessories to machines and work cells as needed.
• Maintain proper product identification, labeling, and FIFO material flow.
• Support shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading trucks.
• Verify incoming and outgoing quantities and report discrepancies.
• Maintain organization, housekeeping, and staging areas throughout the facility.
• Complete inventory counts as directed.
• Perform daily equipment and forklift inspections.
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Assist other departments as needed to support production priorities.

Pay: Starting at $20.50- $22.10
Schedule: Full-Time Split Shift 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to learn Centro’s manufacturing and quality processes
• Basic computer skills or ability to learn internal systems
• Forklift experience preferred (training available)
• Valid driver’s license
