Job summary

Ball Corporation, located in Saratoga Springs, NY, is seeking a Material Handler to join a production crew on-site. You will operate a forklift, manage material flow, and ensure safety and quality working with SOPs and 5S standards.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 1 year in an industrial setting; forklift experience and ERP familiarity are preferred. Eligible for incentive pay and comprehensive benefits; on-site work is expected.

PositionOverview:

Asa Material Handler ,you’reamember ofan assigned production crew, reporting tothe Plant Warehouse Supervisor.You will contribute to the success of Ball byobservingoperating principles of all assigned equipment and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility.

YourKey ResponsibilitiesInclude:

Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc.

Operate forklift and coordinate products including raw materials, scrap, finished goods, packaging materials, chemicals, and other supplies.

Effectively communicate with vendors, delivery drivers, and customers.

Inspect aluminium for proper quality standards and customer specifications.

Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating,

communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.

RequiredExperience& Skills:

High School Diploma or education equivalent.

1 year of work experience in an industrial environment.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

3 or more years ofoperation and maintenance of forklift.

Working knowledge of proper hazardous waste management.

Experience using JD Edwards, AS900, or similar warehouse or ERP system.

Physical Environment & Working Conditions:

May be subjecttoallofthe following, but not limited to:

Hot/Cold working conditions.

Standing and walking forprolonged periodsof time.

Climbing (stairs,catwalks, and other equipment as necessary).

• Expected Hourly Pay Rate: $27.37
• This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.

• Onsite Work Environment:This requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site. Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
