Job summary

Caresoft Inc. is seeking a Material Handler in Rochester, NY for a six-month assignment. The role requires accurate shipping, receiving, storage, and delivery of materials, with physical inventory counts and material movements between departments.

The candidate will operate forklifts and related equipment in narrow aisles and cold storage. Responsibilities include following SOPs and GMP guidelines, adhering to safety training, and participating in training of other employees.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials, equipment, and supplies
• Performs physical counts of inventory
• Transports materials between departments, facilities, and/or production floor
• Transacts inventory/material movements in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with strong inventory control practices
• Selects and transacts materials for work orders
• Assures the accurate counting, staging and storage of materials and supplies
• Follows all standard operation procedures and GMP guidelines
• Adheres to all safety training and instructions and has knowledge of materials and safety
• Participates in the effective training of other employees
• Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies
