Job summary

ManpowerGroup supports a leading logistics and warehousing client in Rochester, NY, seeking a Material Handler to join their team in Henrietta. The role focuses on safe, efficient material movement and accurate order preparation in a fast-paced warehouse.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, organize orders for picking, move products to staging, and maintain a clean work area while following safety procedures and teamwork expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklift and double pallet jack (2-3 years).
• Must obtain and maintain MHEO certification for safe equipment operation.
• Willingness to keep the work area clean and organized.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
• Ability to adapt quickly to safety procedures and work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turret or electric pallet jacks to move products within the warehouse.
• Organize and prepare orders for picking, including pulling, stacking, and labeling merchandise.
• Transport products to staging areas efficiently and safely.
• Stack empty pallets and maintain a clean work environment by cleaning, sweeping, and removing trash.
• Adhere to safety procedures and ensure safe work practices at all times.

Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong safety awareness, teamwork, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Henrietta, NY

Pay Range: $21.25

Shift: Monday to Friday, 1:00PM - 9:30PM

What's the Job?
