Job summary

Moog is seeking a diligent Material Handler in Christiansburg, VA. On-site position requiring inventory experience, attention to detail, and basic computer skills to manage shipping, receiving, and data entry within our manufacturing environment.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED (preferred), 3+ years in inventory roles, and a valid driver's license. Training will cover packing, dock operations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Title : Material Handler

Reporting To: Material Control Supervisor

Work Schedule: Onsite - Christiansburg, VA

To be considered for a Material Handler role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• HS diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all work instructions and training.
• Minimum of 3 years of inventory experience, a combination of inventory and manufacturing experience, or other relevant experience in a related operational environment.
• Ability to work with computers including Microsoft suite, Excel, and Data Entry.
• Valid Driver's License
• Quality conscious, mechanical aptitude, and good dexterity

As a Material Handler, you will:

• Package components, final assemblies per detailed packing instructions and process supporting documentation for all product shipments
• Maintain inventory of shipping supplies.
• Computer tasks: ship per the sales order report; schedule existing orders; check actual inventory vs. computer totals.
• Unload incoming materials and maintain dock / warehouse area.
• Receive and verify incoming supplies, enter data into computer system and deliver material per routing instructions.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Process.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range Transparency:

Christiansburg, VA $18.05-$22.00 Hourly
