Job summary

Job description

Responsible for warehouse cleanliness and proper arrangement of the warehouse. Individuals are in charge of ensuring the warehouse is self-cleaning and that production is maintained properly on the racks. Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand, on carts, pallets, skids, and pallet jacks, following company safety guidelines and best practices.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Accurately count and record quantities to ensure proper inventory transactions.
  2. Identify materials moved and match descriptions on associated documentation.
  3. Follow proper labeling disciplines and keep product numbers up to date.
  4. Ensure bulk-packed materials are properly boxed, taped, wrapped, packed, banded, shrink-wrapped, or otherwise secured for safe transportation without damage.
  5. Locate, identify, label, and pick required materials as indicated on printed pick lists.
  6. Pick and pull daily orders without using a forklift.
  7. Use a camera to document inbound and outbound load conditions and quality issues.
  8. Use basic hand tools for opening/closing crates and completing basic assembly tasks.
  9. Read and understand written pick lists and related documents.
