Dover Food Retail is seeking a detail-oriented order processor to handle in-coming and out-going orders and related documentation in a fast-paced environment. You will liaise with transport partners to ensure timely shipments and accurate clearance of goods.

The role requires basic knowledge of order procedures, documentation, and logistics coordination, with a focus on accuracy and compliance. This position is based in the Chester, VA area and offers competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for in-coming and out-going order processing and documentation, including generating delivery/shipping documents.
• Liaises with internal and external transport companies/departments for timely in-coming/out-going shipments.
• Ensures prompt and accurate declaration of permits and prompt delivery and clearance of shipments.
• Investigates and actions all non-conformance and recommend corrective actions.
• A Support 2 requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education.
• Works under moderate supervision.
• Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.
• Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: USD 18 - 18 Hourly. This position is eligible to earn commissions based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable commissions plan.
