Job summary

Plastic Molding Technology in Centennial, CO is seeking a Material Handler for full-time, hands-on labor in a manufacturing setting. You will manage material flow, operate dryers and record inventory relevant data.

Responsibilities include maintaining labeling accuracy, assisting in inventory counts, and supporting team safety and housekeeping efforts on the shop floor. A high school diploma and 4 years’ material handling experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of Material Handling experience.
• Ability to speak, read & write in English.
• Ability to follow direction and finish assignments.
• Basic computer skills.
• Regularly stand, walk, and lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prevent contamination of materials; clean material dryers and hoses as required; ensure proper labels on material barrels and hoppers.
• Maintain proper dryer temperature settings according to engineering set-up guide; record on sheets daily.
• Maintain overall cleanliness of shop area.
• Complete "material issued" sheet and scanner as supplies are used.
• Maintain material issuance accuracy and participate in physical inventory.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss safety, work, products, etc.
• Create work orders for faulty or damaged equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The primary manufacturing processes are injection molding and thermoforming. PMT has ~100 injection molding presses at its two primary manufacturing locations in El Paso, TX and Centennial, CO (a suburb of Denver).
