We are hiring experienced and motivated Forklift Operators for direct-hire opportunities with a well-established distribution operation in the Cedar Rapids area. These are permanent positions offering consistent full-time hours, benefits, overtime opportunities, and hands‑on training.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys operating equipment but doesn't want to spend the entire shift sitting on a forklift. You'll be part of a fast‑moving warehouse team and will regularly assist with other material handling responsibilities throughout your shift.

What You'll Do

• Operate powered material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Load, unload, and move product throughout the facility
• Handle product using specialized forklift attachments
• Prepare, wrap, and organize units for movement or storage
• Perform hands‑on case handling and product rework as needed
• Follow established safety and productivity standards
• Work closely with your team to keep warehouse operations moving

What We're Looking For

Prior forklift or material handling equipment experience is strongly preferred, but experience with specialized equipment is not required. Training will be provided.

Successful candidates will have:

• Forklift, warehouse, or material handling experience

• Willingness to perform both equipment operation and hands‑on warehouse work
• Ability to work required overtime when business needs demand it

Schedule

These are full‑time schedules working four 10‑hour shifts.

• 1st Shift: 5:45 AM - 4:15 PM
• 2nd Shift: 4:45 PM - 3:15 AM
• Schedules will include at least one weekend day
• Current schedules may include Sunday‑Wednesday or Wednesday‑Saturday
• Mandatory overtime should be expected based on business needs

Candidates should currently be comfortable with the possibility of approximately 10-20 additional hours depending on workload. Overtime needs may decrease as additional team members are hired.

Compensation

• 1st Shift: $20.00/hour
• 2nd Shift: $22.00/hour, including shift differential
