Job summary

Trex Company is seeking hardworking team members for our Carson City, NV manufacturing operations. The role focuses on safety, teamwork, and efficient production line duties, including visual inspection and logging scrap. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, with opportunities to grow within a leading, eco-conscious decking company.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience as a machinist, forklift operator, or general manufacturing worker is welcome.

Responsibilities

  • Put safety first in all tasks.
  • Work as a team to support a people-first culture.
  • Safely clear production lines and visually inspect products.
  • Maintain saw logs and log scrap accurately.
  • Keep plant clean with proper housekeeping practices.
  • Perform lockout/tagout procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Put safety first - always
  • Work as a team to drive our "people first" culture
  • Safely and efficiently clear production lines
  • Visually inspect product and timber tag boards
  • Maintain saw logs
  • Accurately count and log scrap
  • Perform housekeeping suties to keep plant appearance at an acceptable and safe manner
  • Perform Lock out tag out proceedures
EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or related experience is preferredin this role, but if you've worked as a machinist, forklift operator, or general manufacturing worker, we want to hear from you!
