• Store items in designated locations and maintain order.
• Maintain records of received items, quantities, descriptions, and locations.
• Ensure proper handling and storage to prevent damage.
• Monitor inventory levels and movements to maintain stock.
• Reconcile inventory records with physical counts.
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in records promptly.
• Prepare reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.
• Fulfill material requests or requisitions efficiently.
• Locate and retrieve items from storage quickly.
• Distribute materials to departments or individuals with accuracy.
• Process purchase orders and requisitions.
• Keep storage area clean and promote safety.
• Liaise with vendors and internal departments regarding needs and discrepancies.
• Assist in disposal of scrap or surplus materials.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving and Storage

• Welcome Materials: Receive and unload incoming materials, supplies, and equipment with precision.


• Verification: Check items against purchase orders or invoices, ensuring accuracy and inspecting for damage.


• Organized Storage: Store items in designated locations within the warehouse or storage area, maintaining order.


• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of received items, including quantities, descriptions, and locations.


• Preservation: Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or deterioration.

Inventory Management

• Tracking: Monitor inventory levels and movements to maintain optimal stock.


• Reconciliation: Reconcile inventory records with physical counts, ensuring accuracy.


• Audits: Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits to uphold inventory integrity.


• Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records promptly.


• Reporting: Prepare insightful reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.

Distribution

• Fulfillment: Fulfill material requests or requisitions with efficiency.


• Retrieval: Locate and retrieve requested items from storage swiftly.


• Delivery: Distribute materials to designated departments or individuals, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Additional Duties

• Order Processing: Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions with attention to detail.


• Organization: Maintain a clean and organized storage area, promoting a safe work environment.


• Communication: Liaise with vendors and internal departments regarding material needs and discrepancies.


• Waste Management: May be involved in the disposal of scrap or surplus materials.

Skills And Qualifications
