Responsibilities

  • Receive and unload incoming materials, supplies, and equipment with precision.
  • Check items against PO or invoices, ensuring accuracy and inspecting for damage.
  • Store items in designated locations, maintaining order.
  • Maintain accurate records of received items, including quantities, descriptions, and locations.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or deterioration.
  • Monitor inventory levels and movements to maintain optimal stock.
  • Reconcile inventory records with physical counts, ensuring accuracy.
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits to uphold inventory integrity.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records promptly.
  • Prepare insightful reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.
  • Fulfill material requests or requisitions with efficiency.
  • Locate and retrieve requested items from storage swiftly.
  • Distribute materials to designated departments or individuals, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions with attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean and organized storage area, promoting a safe work environment.
  • Liaise with vendors and internal departments regarding material needs and discrepancies.
  • May be involved in the disposal of scrap or surplus materials.
