Position: Material Handler 2nd shift
Shift: Wed-Sat, 3pm - 1:30am
Pay: $22/hr with $.75 shift differential

The core responsibilities of this role include: Production, Manufacturing, Warehouse, General Labor, Forklift, Quality Control, Material Handling, Loader / Unloader, Equipment Operation, Reach Truck, Dock Stocker.

The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

• A minimum of 6 months’ experience operating stand-up material handling equipment, with preference given to those experienced with Dock Stocker and Reach Truck.
• Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Cherry Picker, Sit-down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack is a plus.
• This position involves equipment operation (30-90% depending on production peaks) and material handling/loading/unloading duties.
• Experience using a warehouse management system (WMS) like Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP is highly preferred.

Role Purpose:

Operate powered equipment to move, locate, and count products, ensuring products are damage-free, properly labeled, and meet customer requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

• Load products onto equipment, pallets, or totes during over 20% of shift.
• Pick and put away products accurately according to customer orders.
• Verify quantities, quality, and labeling for outgoing shipments.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks as needed.
• Report discrepancies like non-available products or OS&D.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility and equipment, inspecting equipment daily.
• Assist in physical inventories.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
• Six months warehouse experience (preferred)
• Six months forklift operation experience (preferred)
