Job summary

Novolex in City of Industry, CA is seeking a Material Handler on 2nd shift to support efficient movement, storage and tracking of materials within the facility.

The role requires no prior experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift heavy objects safely while following safety protocols in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in material handling tasks such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials.
• Learn to operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks and hand trucks under the supervision of experienced team members.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and manage workflow effectively.
• Assist in inventory management by accurately counting, labeling, and recording materials.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and address any concerns.
• Handle materials with care to prevent damage and ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform general warehouse duties such as cleaning and organizing work areas as needed.

Overview
