Job summary

Hörmann North America is seeking a detail-oriented warehouse associate in Burgettstown, PA to handle receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping tasks. You will use scanners, manage inventory, and ensure accurate labeling and FIFO practices.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, verifying quantities, reporting damages, adhering to safety policies, and supporting continuous improvement while remaining flexible to other areas and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to receive and process shipments with accuracy and safety.
  • Proficient with scanners and computers for inventory status.
  • Able to operate hand tools and basic warehouse equipment.

  • Compare packing slips with purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Document and report discrepancies or damages to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Store materials using forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and labeling; follow FIFO.
  • Use scanners and computers to communicate production order status.
  • Transport materials to production areas or other locations as needed.
  • Pick and pack orders for shipment or internal distribution.
  • Load and unload trucks and other vehicles.
  • Provide feedback to improve safety, productivity, or efficiency.
  • Maintain area cleanliness and be flexible to other areas.
  • Must be willing to work overtime when needed.
