Employment Type: Contract

Shift: 2nd Shift - M‑Th, 3:30‑2:00 AM (Friday OT as needed)

Must be Forklift Certified

Job Description

Material Handler‑Shipping is ultimately responsible for managing process flow in our Shipping department. This includes safely & properly fulfilling orders for our customers in a timely manner. Using tools such as pallet jacks, Material Handlers transition pallets of product to our order staging area and ultimately onto the customer truck for shipment to the products’ final destination.

Responsibilities

• Operate a walkie rider pallet jack for pulling orders & transporting pallets of product
• Be a motivated and open‑mind team member, willing to adapt to new techniques and processes
• Ability to work independently or as a team to meet established goals
• Load and unload pallets to and from trucks
• Use handheld computers & other technology to track load progress
• Ability to be flexible with day‑to‑day responsibilities & work in other areas according to business need
• Ability to adhere to company policies, processes, regulations and procedures in a positive manner
• Overtime as required
