Staffmark Group is hiring for a Material Handler (Forklift Operator) in Bryan, OH. This role focuses on receiving, moving, and shipping materials to keep production and inventory flowing.

Job Duties

• Receive raw materials and verify incoming shipments for accuracy.
• Pick, pack, process, and ship customer orders according to company standards.
• Prepare shipping labels, freight documentation, and related paperwork.
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials using a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Organize shipping and receiving areas to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide shipping quotes and assist with inventory and order tracking activities.
• Support production operations by loading and unloading parts when needed.
• Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and warehouse procedures.
• Perform additional warehouse, logistics, and material handling duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Ability to complete shipping documents, receiving paperwork, and inventory records accurately.
• Basic computer skills and experience using warehouse systems preferred.
• Valid forklift certification or prior forklift operating experience required.

Experience Requirements

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, distribution, or inventory control experience preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment required.
• Knowledge of order fulfillment, packaging, shipping labels, and freight processing.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to safely handle materials and maintain inventory accuracy.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs., with occasional heavier lifting as needed.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Must have strong manual dexterity and attention to safety procedures.
