A leading company in the life sciences sector is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Boston. The successful candidate will manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of products, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures. This role requires a high school diploma and 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Attractive benefits including medical, dental, and 401k match are offered.
Summary:
Participates in a team environment to manage and perform routine tasks related to the receipt, storage, distribution, issuance, and/or shipping of Revvity products, parts and subassemblies.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Completes general warehouse tasks in accordance with defined ISO procedures and/or supervisory and work instructions
Receives, counts, and processes incoming POs using SAP
Verifies materials released for stockroom through receiving and issue-to-stock processes.
Assists in daily cycle count activities
Performs SAP inventory transactions
Processes sales orders and work orders for shipment (picking, packing & checking)
Packages orders for issue to stock or shipment using various packaging means
Adheres to all Federal, State, Local and Company safety and security regulations and policies
Maintains relationships with incoming and outgoing drivers, carriers, etc.
Operates mechanical equipment such as forklifts and stock pickers as required

Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
1-2 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic experience in PC business applications including MS Word and Excel
Experience/practical working knowledge of inventory control systems and processes
Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing with clients and company personnel
Works various shifts and overtime as needed, especially at the end of the quarter
Physical Requirements & Expectations:
Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50-75 lbs. unassisted and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit and stand for long periods of time.
Be able to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck and have good hand and finger dexterity.
Specific vision abilities required by this job may include color, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
