Job Description: Stocking Team Member

As a stocking team member, you will unload deliveries, stock and merchandise products on the sales floor and in backrooms. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, energetic environment, Wegmans is the place for you!

Responsibilities:

1. Provide excellent customer service and answer questions promptly.
2. Unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays, and backroom coolers with products and inventory.
3. Verify that delivered products match invoices and assist in tracking vendor credits, inventory, damages, and variances.
4. Maintain clean, organized, and appealing shelves and cases.
5. Maximize sales through proper stocking, rotation, and merchandising of products on the sales floor and in backrooms and coolers/freezers.
6. Handle products properly, operate equipment safely, keep accurate logs, and follow sanitation and safety guidelines.
7. Work in cold temperatures and lift weights ranging from 8-32 pounds on average, with occasional lifts over 50 pounds.
