Job summary

Wynalda Packaging, LLC in Belmont, MI is seeking a full-time Material Handler for the 3rd shift to support our production lines with safe, efficient material flow.

You will move materials using pallet jacks and forklifts, stock and locate supplies, verify orders, and keep work areas clean while following all safety regulations. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, and we provide the Hilo forklift license training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Willing to obtain Hilo forklift license; training is provided by the company.

Wynalda Packaging, formed in 1970, is an industry-leading packaging and folding carton manufacturer located in Belmont, MI. Currently, we are looking for a full-time Material Handler to join our team on 3rd shift.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Moves material throughout the production area using a pallet jack
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items
• Operators jogger/aerator machine to turn stacks of paper product
• Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by delivering production materials and supplies where needed
• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders
• Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
• Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.

Education & Experience

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not essential
• Must be open to obtaining Hilo license/operating an industrial forklift. (We provide Hilo course and license)
