Job summary

Rogers Corporation is seeking an inventory associate to coordinate activities across work areas. You will communicate handling issues and take direction daily from the department supervisor.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, pulling materials per orders, delivering to work centers, and documenting dispositions. Candidates should have a high school diploma, minimal experience, and forklift certification or the ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude required.
• Experience not required or minimal (0–1 year).

• Process nonconforming material; handle DMRs and hold tags.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders
• Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies
• Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections
• Performs cycle counting to insure inventory accuracy.
• Performs nonconforming material process including device master records (DMRs) and hold tags
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
• <1 yearexperience ofpacking/shipping experience
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Forklift operator certified or ability to become certified
