Job summary

Shawsheen Coating & Converting, located in Andover, MA, seeks a Material Handler to join the production team. You will move raw stock and finished materials to and from production lines to ensure smooth material flow through the facility.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading with forklifts or pallet jacks, recording data accurately, packing finished goods per procedures, and assisting with shipping and receiving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

You will also be required to assist in our Shipping and Receiving Dept as needed.

WHAT WE OFFER.

• $18-$22 per hour depending on experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

• Move raw stock and finished materials to and from production lines.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

• High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent related experience ispreferredbut not required.
• Must be self-motivated, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work 8-hour shifts with mandatory overtime as required.
• Ability to safely operate a powered forklift and pallets jacks in tight or restricted spaces.
• Capable of performing job requirements utilizing written procedures, work orders, verbal instructions, and visual aids.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
