Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the operations team supporting the logistics and supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will have forklift skills, excellent teamwork skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Altavista, VA

Pay Range: $16.55 per hour

What's the Job?

• Perform material handling tasks including loading, unloading, and moving materials within the facility.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Experience with forklift required

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work the 3rd shift from 11 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Basic understanding of inventory management and material handling equipment.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
