Job summary

IKG USA LLC is seeking a Material Handler to prepare, organize, load, unload, and stage materials for production and shipment in a safe, efficient manner. You will work with steel grating products, structural materials, hardware and accessories while ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading shipments, preparing orders, verifying accuracy, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to read and interpret work orders and shipping documents.
• Basic math skills for production and shipping calculations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, push, pull for the shift and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience operating material handling equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments using forklifts, cranes and other equipment.
• Prepare customer orders for shipment including bundling, tagging and staging.
• Verify orders for accuracy before, during, and after loading.
• Assemble and package accessories for shipment.
• Complete shipping documents and submit paperwork to supervision.
• Maintain accurate inventory and records (bills of lading, packing lists).
• Enter data into computer systems and organize shipping and production paperwork.
