Job summary

Louis Industries, Inc. in central Minnesota is seeking General Laborers and Material Handlers to support production by separating, staging, packaging, and moving parts, while upholding quality and safety.

You will track jobs in the ERP system and participate in cross-training across processes. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1–3 years in manufacturing or material handling, and experience with forklifts or heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing, production or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or production equipment preferred (as applicable to role).
• Familiarity with ERP systems or production tracking systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Separate (“pick”) laser-cut parts and stage materials according to job requirements.
• Package, palletize, move, and organize materials to support production flow and downstream operations.
• Handle raw materials, finished parts, and scrap safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper part identification, staging, labeling, traceability, and ERP job tracking.
• Support additional production processes such as flattening, finishing, shearing, tumbling, or pallet building as needed.
