Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a forklift and move materials as required.
• Ability to use a personal motorized man lift to heights of 16 ft.
• Communication and attention to detail to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Safely lift 50 lbs, unaided, and up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Experience with assembling, machining, or die-casting is helpful.
• Must follow standardized work and use basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Issue material for production through the use of Job packets and pick lists.
• Move raw materials and finished goods throughout the company.
• Ensure proper levels of inventory per Kanban areas.
• Label and identify materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Prioritize safety and escalate issues to team leaders.
• Identify efficient ways to manage material within production and warehouse areas.
• Identify quality issues within the company.
• Put away materials received to warehouse locations, ensuring location and inventory accuracy.
• Assist in other area warehouse functions as needed.
