As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting‑edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE JOB

Anduril's Supply Chain team is seeking a Material Flow Specialist to join us. As a Materials Specialist, you will execute hands‑on warehouse and production operations to ensure materials flow seamlessly through our manufacturing operations. Working closely with Material Flow Engineers and Warehouse Operations, you will own tactical responsibilities including inventory management, visual workplace systems, and process standardization. This is a foundational role that provides deep operational experience and clear pathways for career growth within our supply chain organization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Own hands‑on warehouse and production tasks including visual management (labeling, signage), lineside inventory organization, stock relocation, and replenishment system execution (Kanban, Supermarkets)
  • Maintain organized, efficient material flow to support uninterrupted production schedules
  • Create and maintain process flow charts to document material handling procedures
  • Identify simple variants from standard processes and escalate to Material Flow Engineers
  • Assist in implementing 5S, visual management, and other Lean Manufacturing principles on the production floor
  • Provide tactical execution support for Material Flow Engineering projects
  • Conduct time‑and‑motion studies to gather baseline operational data
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and change management efforts
  • Work primarily with Material Flow Engineers and Warehouse Operations teams
  • Provide regular progress reports to leadership on task completion and project status
  • Maintain strong working relationships with Production, Quality, and Strategic Sourcing teams
  • Participate in rapid‑response "tiger teams" to support multi‑site warehouse setups, layout optimizations, and operational improvements
  • Travel to various Anduril locations to execute high‑impact operational projects
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 3–5 years in manufacturing, warehousing, fulfillment, or logistics environments
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, inventory control, and replenishment systems (Kanban, Supermarkets)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, particularly Excel or Sheets for data entry and basic analysis. Exposure to ERP or WMS systems is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to document processes and provide clear status updates to management
  • Willingness to travel to support multi‑site operations
  • Ability to stand and walk on concrete manufacturing floors for extended periods and lift/move as required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Background in fast‑paced, high‑growth manufacturing environments (aerospace, automotive, defense, or robotics)
  • Hands‑on experience with time‑and‑motion studies, line balancing, or value stream mapping
  • Interest in designing physical workspaces, lineside storage solutions, or material flow routes
  • Strong spreadsheet capabilities including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic data analysis
  • Understanding of how materials, production, and quality functions interact within manufacturing operations
  • Proven track record of executing high‑quality tactical work with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines
US Hourly Range
