Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of relevant experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prints and distributes pick tickets and performs computer transactions as necessary.
• Organizes sequence of pulling material and relays information to Material Support.
• Ensures production schedules are met by timely and accurate processing and movement of goods. Assists during daily peak times to include operating material handling equipment and perform all necessary computer transactions.
• Ensures communication with management and shift teams across shifts.
• Assists supervisor/area manager with Continuous Improvement Projects, evaluation of new equipment, training needs and interviewing/hiring.
• Monitors and enforces shop floor control systems.
• Follows all safety procedures, wears PPE, and identifies unsafe conditions.
• Studies systems and procedures for improvement and proposes changes to Materials Manager.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
