Job summary

Allegion in Snoqualmie, WA is seeking a Material Specialist (Strider) to ensure the right materials and quantities flow to the machining team, maintain an organized raw-material area, and support inventory control with daily data entry.

You will operate a standup forklift, perform cycle counts, label and stage items, and help develop standard operating procedures while adhering to safety standards. This is a full-time, 40‑hour-per-week role with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Standup forklift experience required.
• 2+ years in material distribution, inventory, supply chain, or manufacturing preferred.
• Data entry and computer navigation skills.
• Ability to navigate Material Resource Planning / Enterprise Resource Planning type systems (MRP/ERP).
• Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and prioritizing multiple tasks along with meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Pick and stage inventory for machining using standup forklift.
• Perform timely and accurate data entry daily to allocate inventory against Pick Lists and other usage.
• Provide accurate inventory cycle counts, update inventory locations and ensure material is correctly identified.
• Take initiative to research and resolve material related problems.
• Communicate, monitor and expedite shortages.
• Print part labels, Pick Lists and BOM and other key documents.
• Unpack, label and stock materials and consumables in accordance to storage requirements.
• Maintain work areas according to 5S principles daily.
• Fulfill assigned daily and weekly job assignments as outlined by supervisor.
