Job summary

eTeam is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer (Material Flow Engineer) in Normal, IL to own engineering of end-to-end supply chain, logistics, and material flow from external warehouses to the assembly line. You will design layouts, implement conveyors and ASRS systems, and develop models to optimize throughput and space utilization.

The role requires 5+ years in related work, 2D/3D layout proficiency, and experience with data visualization and simulation tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related field.
5+ years of supply chain or material flow engineering experience.
3+ years in layout planning using 2D/3D design tools (AutoCAD, MicroStation).
1+ years of modeling/simulation software (Flexsim, AnyLogic).
1+ years of data visualization (Power BI, Tableau).
Strong analytical ability to derive actionable results and communicate with leadership.

Responsibilities

Develop end-to-end supply chain and logistics processes from external warehouses to assembly line.
Design value-stream, logistics routing, and warehouse layouts.
Implement material flow equipment (conveyors, EMS, AGVs, ASRS).
Build models to analyze cost, throughput, and space for material flow strategies.
Plan and manage project schedules aligned to milestones.
Ensure safety, quality, cost, timing, and throughput targets on all projects.
Lead automation of supply chain logistics and leverage AI for bottleneck prediction.
