Teklabs Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced engineering professional to design and optimize end-to-end warehouse and material flow systems.

You will work with AGV/AMR systems, conveyors, robotics, and ASRS, using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and FlexSim to model layouts and improve throughput; familiarity with PLC/MES/WMS integration and FAT/SAT is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing, material handling, or automation in high-volume settings.
• Experience with AGV/AMR/AGC/VRC, conveyors, robotics and ASRS design and procurement.
• Proficient in PLC/MES/WMS integration, FAT/SAT and end-to-end project execution.
• Lean Manufacturing and JIT knowledge is preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, material handling, or automation engineering within high-volume manufacturing or logistics environments.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in end-to-end warehouse and material flow design, including buffer planning, aisle sizing, lineside and finished goods buffers, and PFEP.
• Hands-on experience with AGV, AMR, AGC, VRC, conveyors, robotics, and ASRS design, integration, commissioning, and equipment procurement.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and FlexSim or equivalent simulation tools for factory layout, capacity, throughput, and material flow modeling.
• Experience with PLC/MES/WMS integration, vendor management, FAT/SAT, and end-to-end project execution.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and JIT is preferred.
