Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN is seeking a qualified Material Coordinator on the 1st shift to support production by ensuring material flow to all lines, pulling and placing material as required, and recording SAP transactions with barcode scans.

You will move QA Hold material, pull and package items for suppliers, coordinate with receiving clerks, rotate stock, organize storage for quick retrieval, and assist Shipping/Receiving as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year manufacturing experience.
• SAP proficiency; all transactions to follow internal procedures and specifications.
• Ability to read and understand safety procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to operate a computer and learn specialized programs as needed for job functions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure material flow to all production lines as directed.
• Pull and place material for production as required.
• Perform SAP transactions to account for material accuracy (barcode scans).
• Move QA Hold material to QA locations as assigned.
• Pull and package material for suppliers.
