AFP Seals & Gaskets in Minnesota is seeking a detail‑oriented shipping/receiving associate to manage inbound/outbound goods, packaging, and inventory control on a manufacturing floor. You will operate forklifts, use UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager, and coordinate LTL shipments to ensure on‑time, accurate deliveries.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least two years in shipping/receiving, plus familiarity with Epicor ERP and ERP‑based inventory data.

• Hands-on experience with UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager; UPS Ozlink familiarity.
• Detail-focused with solid basic math; mechanically inclined and quality-driven.
• Blueprint reading ability preferred.
• Strong English communication skills; able to read/interpret safety, operating, and shipping procedures.
• Proficient with computers; Microsoft Office and ERP systems preferred (Epicor a plus).
• Forklift licensed; precision measurement and inspection experience.
• Background in warehouse and manufacturing environments.

Aufgaben

• Receive inbound goods—open, count, and inspect; record shortages and reject damage on the spot.
• Document and track all traffic in and out, keeping shipment paperwork accurate and audit-ready.
• Pack and ship orders using UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and UPS Ozlink; coordinate LTL when needed.
• Confirm outbound quality and specifications are met before release.
• Process returns of defective or damaged materials as directed.
• Maintain precise inventory of raw materials and WIP; investigate and correct discrepancies.
• Enter transactions into the ERP and provide timely inventory data to the production scheduler.
• Pull and stage materials for the next day’s work orders.
• Operate electric forklifts, pallet jacks, and a two‑wheeler safely at all times.
• Follow all safety rules and handle other duties as assigned.
