Job summary

TSC is seeking a forward-thinking material expeditor to join our Raeford, NC-based team. You will support the Supply Chain group by expediting materials, coordinating with Procurement, Programs, Production and Logistics to keep shipments on track and ensure on-time project completion. This onsite role reports to the Procurement Manager in Raeford, NC.

Ideal candidates bring at least 5 years in supply chain, logistics or expediting, plus aviation industry exposure and strong Excel skills. U.S.

Qualifications

• AA/AS in Supply/Operations Management, Business, Accounting or Finance or 5 years of related experience.
• 5 years of professional experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or expediting.
• Experience in the aviation industry.
• US Citizenship.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and follow up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Procurement, Programs, Production, and Logistics Teams to resolve supply chain issues.
• Follow up with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules and expedite shipments when necessary.
• Assist in coordinating alternate sources or materials in case of shortages or disruptions.
• Identify and elaborate potential delays that could impact production or delivery timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, lead times, deliveries, and material statuses in ERP or tracking tools.
• Support RMA customer returns as required/needed.
• Coordinate the internal flow of material into production or to the end user.
• Other team support functions as needed.

TSC is seeking a forward-thinking & highly motivated Material Expeditor. The ideal candidate is a collaborator who will proactively support the Supply Chain team in a timely manner, who is able to work fast and under pressure, who works to understand and enhance supply chain processes, assemble data, identify problems, and provide recommendations that support program planning and operations. Critical to the job, the candidate supports the timely delivery and flow of materials throughout our supply chain, supporting efficient production and on-time project completion. This is an onsite position supporting TSC’s Airborne and ISR Solutions Division reporting to the Procurement Manager at TSC’s Raeford, NC location.

Responsibilities

• 5 years of professional experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or expediting role or equivalent years of military, education and experience.
• Candidates must have experience in the aviation industry.

• Excellent communication and follow up skills.

• AA/AS in Supply/Operations Management, Business, Accounting or Finance or 5 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Supply/Operations Management, Business, Accounting or Finance preferred or 5 years related experience.
• Experience with Costpoint.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
