Responsibilities

• Locates and moves materials between work areas to expedite production and processing.
• Verifies material availability against schedules and informs supervisors of status and priorities.
• Records material distribution and inventory updates using computer terminals.
• Directs forklift operators or laborers to move materials as needed.
• Ensures provided materials meet work ticket specifications and production needs.

Job description

OLH Technical Services, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Material Expediter in Fort Worth, Texas.

Position Responsibilities:

The Material Expediter executes the following: locates and moves materials and parts between work areas of plant to expedite processing of goods, according to pre-determined schedules and priorities, and keeps related record, reviews production schedules inventory reports

Work orders to determine types, quantities, and availability of required material and priorities of customer orders, confers with department supervisors to determine materials overdue and to inform them of location, availability, and condition of materials, locates and moves materials to specified production areas, using cart or hand truck, and records quantity and type of materials distributed and on hand.

Work may include the following tasks: directing Power-Truck Operator or Material Handling Laborer to expedite movement of materials between storage and production areas, compare work ticket specifications with material at workstations to verify appropriateness of material in use, prepare worker production records and timecards, and may update and maintain inventory records, using computer terminal.

Position Requirements:

Demonstrates proficiency in a range of logistics information systems, including Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), Decision Support Tool (DST), Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP), and Force Management System Web Site (FMSWEB).

Additional experience in Web Federal Logistics Information System (WEBFLIS), Web Visual Logistics Information Processing System (WEBVLIPS)

Ability to pass a background check
