Katmai Government Services, LLC is seeking a Material Expediter to assist in assembling, disassembling, packing and moving furniture and equipment at the Baltimore area site.
Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, operating forklifts and other tools, setting up meeting spaces, delivering supplies, and maintaining safety and attendance. Training and on-the-job learning are expected as part of a dynamic warehouse team.
The Material Expediter will assist in the assembly, disassembling, packing and movement of products as directed. Will make deliveries, load and unload materials as directed by the Site Lead.

The expected travel time is less than 75%.
Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, is required when making deliveries outside the Baltimore area which includes DC and Bethesda. The expected driving time is less than 75%.
40 hours per week. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.
Position consists of standing for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting boxes weighing up to 80 pounds. Frequently uses hands/fingers for handling, to work with such hand tools, wrenches, screwdrivers, wire cutters, pliers, and soldering irons. Seeing up close. Work is performed primarily in a warehouse and loading dock environment. The work area includes concrete flooring and may be drafty, noisy, dusty, and subject to varying temperatures. Employees operate warehouse equipment, hand and power tools, and powered material‑handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, balers, wrappers, and similar machinery. Work may be performed in warehouse, storage, dock, and agency facility locations.
