Job summary

Toll Brothers is seeking a Materials Estimator in Morrisville, PA to build material take-off lists from house plans for Toll Integrated Systems. You will create lists, coordinate with data entry, and ensure complete requirements with Production Design Engineers.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a related role, familiarity with TPM/5S and strong communication skills; a high school diploma is preferred or equivalent experience may be considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years work experience in related job function or field.
• High school degree preferred, or equivalent experience may be considered.
• Familiarity with TPM, 5S and continuous improvement is expected.

Responsibilities

• Read & interpret architectural plans.
• Create material lists that follow company standards & expectations.
• Organize material lists and be able to communicate info to data entry.
• Review new house orders and determine if additional info is required to create accurate material lists.
• Work with Production Design Engineers to ensure complete material requirements are being supplied.
• Learn to identify Toll Brothers product lines and understand differences to create organized material lists.

Toll Brothers, our nation's luxury home builder, seeks a Materials Estimator for Toll Integrated Systems , our house component assembly and manufacturing subsidiary in Morrisville, Pennsylvania.

What is the opportunity?

Utilizing house plans, create various material take off lists (bills of material) for all items supplied by TIS
except for wall & truss designs. Take offs are to be designed for repeated use

What are the primary responsibilities?

• Read & interpret architectural plans.
• Create material lists that follow company standards & expectations.
• Organize material lists and be able to communicate info to data entry.
• Review new house orders and determine if additional info is required to create accurate material
  lists.
• Work with Production Design Engineers to ensure complete material requirements are being
  supplied.
• Learn to identify various Toll Brothers, Inc product lines and understand how they differ and how
  they are the same. Leading to organized material lists.
