Job summary

voestalpine Specialty Metals Pte. Ltd. is seeking an entry‑level Materials QA professional to ensure materials meet customer specifications and standards.

You will review MTRs, pre‑arrival stock reports, and testing plans, and coordinate with purchasing and QA to support order accuracy and supplier communications. You will participate in annual reviews of international standards and customer specs, assist with CMRT reporting, and help streamline processes while supporting fast-paced operations

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Material Science
• Willing to work in fast pace environment

Responsibilities

• Review MTR and ensure conformance to standards
• Review pre-arrival stock reports and testing plans
• Arrange incoming material testing for QA requirements
• Review supplier order acknowledgements and confirmations
• Input alien material/material numbers to purchasing
• Submit CMRT reports to customers on request
• Review and file MTR, test reports, and HT reports
• Annual and ad hoc reviews of international standards and customer specifications
• Review MTR to advise sales inquiries and during PO reviews

Job Summary

• Review the standards/specification requirement to supply the correct and conformed materials to customer requirements.

• Review the incoming material's mill certificates for the conformance of specification, standards and/or our requirement.

• Provide advice/solutions to customer's enquiries during order stage & after sales.

• Review the order acknowledge/confirmation/quotation by vendor in accordance with our PO requirements.

• Monitor the status of revision of specification and/or standards, update, review and analyses the impact of changes to current practice and/or materials of company.

• Identify testing required to fulfil any standards or specification requirements.

• Monitor the incoming materials lot and arrange periodical inspection in accordance with inspection plan.

• Data collection & analysis of materials properties of stocking materials for failure analysis.

• Collect data to support development for AI based review software

• Existing process flow to be reviewed and simplified.
