Qualifications

• Basic math and ability to read orders or instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and lifting techniques.
• Experience in delivery, warehouse, or material handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely.
• Participate in a positive work environment.
• Check orders for accuracy.
• Organize and secure load.
• Obtain approval on loads from supervisor for proper count and conditions.
• Assist in maintaining good housekeeping in yard and warehouse.
• Deliver and unload materials to customer’s satisfaction.
• Follow guidelines from supervisor.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist in unloading material returned for credit.
• Relay messages from customers on the job site.
• Assist supervisor and other teams as needed.
• Help evaluate delivery sites for hazards and access routes.
