Key Responsibilities

  1. Prioritize daily store activities. May perform satellite receiving functions. May perform materials pick-up or drop-off at vendor sites (requiring the use of a van or truck).
  2. Investigate customer inquiries, cycle count discrepancies, and non-conformances. Perform cycle counts to verify and maintain inventory. Locate, audit, and transfer kits or materials as required in preparation for shipment.
  3. Receive parts and update inventory records or shortage reports; may perform transactions in Oracle, SAP, or other inventory systems. Verify vendor delivery before accepting parts and/or inventory. Monitor, update, and maintain shortage reports including review of work orders.
  4. Coordinate processing of non-conformances. Regulate and prepare material for delivery to the cleanroom environment.
  5. Under management direction, prevent accumulation of excess material. Move stock as required. In a manufacturing environment, replenish empty line-side bins and/or regulate material movement to the manufacturing floor.
  6. Review M.R.P. for upcoming work orders, project status, and W.I.P.. Expedite receipt of materials from vendors/suppliers.
  7. Train/certify other Material Coordinators as required. Follow documented business processes. Under supervisor direction, purge stock of excess and obsolete material. Take necessary actions to rework, transfer, or scrap these items.
  8. Operate powered industrial vehicles as assigned; may operate pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and/or forklifts. May drive a van or truck if necessary, or operate overhead cranes. Adhere to all safety standards and protocols; participate in addressing safety concerns.

Other Requirements: This is a physically demanding position that often requires standing for extended periods, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, distinguishing between colors, working in noisy environments, using hand and power tools, and operating heavy machinery including forklifts.

Additionally, because this position may involve working in a clean room, the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be required.

The salary offered will depend on multiple factors including location, hire grade, knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. Candidates may be eligible for additional compensation such as bonuses and stock awards.
