Job summary

Plastech Corporation in Rush City, MN seeks a Material Coordinator to coordinate the large part re-grinder and manage regrind inventory. The role also handles staging and inventorying raw materials in IQMS, maintaining a clean, organized warehouse, and supporting the Material Handlers and Manager.

First shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm, $20.00 per hour, full-time with benefits. Pre-employment screening required and a $500 bonus after 90 days for external candidates.

Qualifications

• One year of Material Handling experience.
• Certification in safe operation of material handling equipment, specifically motorized forklift.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate re-grinder inventory and ensure accurate stock.
• Stage and inventory all raw materials and colorants in IQMS and locate materials in the warehouse.
• Manage material handling area and warehouse; keep materials clean and undamaged.
• Support Material Handlers and Material Manager as needed.

Job description

The Material Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the large part re-grinder and accurate inventory of the regrind generated from that activity. The Material Handler Coordinator Assistant will also be responsible for staging and inventorying all raw materials and colorants in IQMS and physically locating the materials in the warehouse. Additional responsibilities include managing the material handling area and warehouse; Keep all material and packaging clean and free from contamination and damage. Supports and assists the Material Handlers and Material Manager as needed.

• 1st Shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm ($20.00 per hour) - Monday thru Friday schedule

***External candidates receive a $500 BONUS after 90 days of employment (must meet performance and attendance requirements).

Qualifications:

• One year of Material Handling experience.
• Training and certification in the safe operation of material handling equipment, specifically a motorized forklift will be required (training done on site).
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
• Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations and professional drawings.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but non-engaging, written and oral instructions.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Apply good judgment in recognizing scope of authority.
• A qualified candidate must possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Pre-employment drug screening and/or testing is required.

Our Rush City, MN facility is located within 30 miles of Hinckley, Mora, Braham, Stanchfield, Cambridge, Isanti, North Branch, Wyoming, Lindstrom, and Chisago, MN and Grantsburg, WI!
