Job summary

Cretex Medical Component and Device Technologies in Brooklyn Park, MN, is seeking a Material Handling Coordinator to support the Molding unit. You will count, issue, stage, package, and store raw materials, subcomponents, finished goods, and supplies, and help train new hires.

The role requires 3 years of material handling experience, ERP proficiency, and strong organizational skills. First shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with opportunities to support safety and quality initiatives within

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 3 years of material handling experience.
  • 3 to 5 years using an ERP system to track inventory movements.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, SOPs, and training documents.
  • Mechanical aptitude is required.
  • Dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.

Responsibilities

  • Count, inspect, issue, and stage material for production jobs.
  • Train and mentor new employees.
  • Count verification activities and inventory reconciliation.
  • Perform inventory movement including storing raw materials in ERP-based locations.
  • Organize and cycle count raw material, subcomponents, finished goods, and supplies.
  • Assist in other warehouse areas when required.
  • Operate computer systems, scanning equipment, electronic scales, forklift, and other moving equipment.
  • Adhere to safety policies and wear PPE when required.
  • Support and comply with the Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
  • Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work.
  • Partner with sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.
  • Understand customer needs and core business markets we serve.
  • Ensure business systems are implemented and functioning properly.
  • Participate in required company meetings.
  • Maintain an organized work area (5S).
  • Participate in the Operational Excellence Program.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.
  • Able to work in a manufacturing environment.

Material Handling Coordinator Position Summary:

The Material Handling Coordinator will support the Molding business unit and be responsible for counting, issuing, staging, packaging, and storing of raw materials, sub components, finished goods, and supplies. This position will be required to help train new employees.

Shifts Available:
  • 1st shift – Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30 pm
Responsibilities
Material Handling Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
  • Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly
  • Participate in required company meetings
  • Maintain an organized work area (5S)

  • Complete all other work duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of material handling experience
  • 3 to 5 years experience utilizing an ERP system to track inventory movements throughout a facility
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, around machinery that may be exposed to and around oils & solvents
  • Ability to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents
  • Mechanical Aptitude

  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Pay Range

USD $19.86 – USD $25.96 /Hr.

Pay Range Details

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.

Pay Range Details
  • Material Handler I – $19.86-23.85
  • Material Handler II – $21.20 – 25.96
