Job summary

RTX is seeking a Material Operator C to perform material control duties including receiving, inspecting, storing, moving, packaging, and shipping. The role is onsite in Andover, MA, on a 3rd shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Starting wage is $20.50 per hour.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least 1 year of inventory handling experience, plus the ability to obtain interim Secret clearance. This is an onsite union-position with comprehensive benefits and a competitive wage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in handling moving and processing inventory.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Receives material by unloading carriers, verifying paperwork, and entering data into the system.
• Inspects material with standard tools and performs basic electrical inspection of components.
• Unpacks material for storage or delivery and moves materials within the facility as directed.
• Transports material within the facility and between Massachusetts locations as needed.
• Packages materials and loads shipments onto carriers per requirements.
